My Holiday
I’ve been waiting for this moment because I really miss my home in Batam and my friends. I told them that my flight was on Dec 25th but it was on Dec 21st. So I surprised them when I arrived home. My friend had no idea how I get home so early.
The next day, we were having fun together in my bedroom, sharing stories of the past 6 months, having deep talk, and sleeping over at my house.
The sad thing is that I was not able to spend time together with my primary school best friend because she had to come back to her dorm:( I just met her once and I surprised her with birthday cake because it was her birthday.
Me and my friends planned to go to self photo studio. The location was a bit far from my home. It was a miracle that actually we got there late but the session is rescheduled because the crew had some trouble. So we were not late! The result of the printed photos was unexpected, they were nice.
Then, we went to a mall to have lunch. And go home immediately because it was maghrib. We don’t want to get home late.
We were celebrating new year together at my house. Like a year before, we grilled meat, prawn, chicken, sausages, and many more. We waited for the new year in my bedroom playing games together.
And finally, the last day in Batam got me in tears. Can’t believe that I have to go back to Bandung after 19 days in my home. farewell with my friends was the hardest thing tho. We were hugging each others and crying together😭 it was gonna be the last time we met in 2023 because in lebaran holiday I will go to my dad’s hometown and in school holiday i will go to my mom’s hometown. So I will never fly to Batam anymore in 2023. We have to be in a long-distance friendship for a year😭 I can’t even imagine a year without them because 6 months without them has been really hard for me.
